Q CELLS Solar Panels

Q CELLS has its headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. Its headquarters for Technology & Innovation is in  Germany. It is a tier 1 manufacturer and offers a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year linear performance warranty. The Q Cells Solar panels are salt corrosion resistant, hence are suitable for Australian weather.

The product manufacturing units are in China, Malaysia, the USA, and South Korea. The products and services are sold in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, South America, Africa, and the Middle East. It has an Australian office in North Sydney.

Throwing a little light on its history, Hanwha Explosives Inc. or Hanwha Group started in 1952 in South Korea. In February 2015, the two companies – Hanwha Group and Q Cells squished together and became Hanwha Q Cells.

Due to innovative Q.ANTUM DUO Technology, the new Q.PEAK DUO-G5 solar module yields high performance on a small surface. Q.ANTUM’s concept has been combined with state-of-the-art circuitry half cells and a six-busbar design to achieve outstanding performance under adverse conditions..

Q Cells was the largest supplier of solar panels in Japan in 2017.

In 2017, there was an increase of 18.7% in production compared to 2016, and hence produced 5.44 gigawatts.
